Happy First Daddy's Day!!

Happy 1st Daddy's Day to the best husband in the world!! Gray is still pretty sick (hence his facial expression in the picture below) but we had a great day with him anyway!! Sometimes chillin' at home is the best present ever! So, thanks for being such a great dad, Chris! You're amazing and I don't know what I'd do without you!! I can't wait to celebrate next year with 2 LITTLE KIDDOS!!

We made him breakfast, gave him his cards, then later on, when Gray wakes up, we'll paint his hands and feet and put them on Dadda's gift!

Nana's back!! We went over to Mimi and Papa's to hang out with everyone and had a blast! Papa brought out Gray's train and played with him on it for a while...he liked it!!! Mimi made a wonderful dinner that Gray was only TOO HAPPY to eat (and get all over him). We need to get more pics of our Mimi, because she escaped a lot of these! BEWARE MIMI: NEXT TIME WE'RE OVER, WE'RE GOING TO GET YOU!! :)

A Visit To The Zoo!

On June 14, we took Gray to the zoo for the first time! (This was obviously before Gray got really sick). It was SUCH a great day in D.C.!! Aunt Sandy was able to join us before she flew back to Florida, so that was a great treat!!

How Dadda found out!!

So, the story goes...I was in Florida visiting my sister with Gray, and felt pretty sick...smelling things that were scentless, that sort of thing. I flew home and the next day decided to take a pregnancy test to just "knock out that option" and try to figure out what was wrong with me. Not even 10 seconds go by, and there it is...2 very dark lines!! I took Gray out to the store and got him a Big Brother shirt, bought some more tests, came home and took them, and YEP!!! I'm definitely pregnant!!! So, we waited for Dadda to get home to "show" him the good news, and the rest is history! :) YEAH!!!

Just so you know...Chris wasn't the first to find out...I freaked out to a friend of mine, Andrea, and told Sandy...then I think I told Julie...THEN Chris. I just really wanted his to be a surprise I caught on tape. SO much fun!!!

We're Pregnant Again!!

We had our first official appointment today, and even though I'm technically 8 weeks 1 day pregnant, the baby was measuring a bit small...due to a long cycle because I was still breast feeding...SO, that means that we're 7 weeks 4 days pregnant today, and here are our first official pictures of our little baby "bean"!! We're super excited and can't wait to meet Gray's little brother or sister on or around January 31st, 2010!!

Grayson's 10 Months!!

I can't believe Grayson's 10 months old already! WHERE is this time going??? He started crawling a few weeks ago, and now he's crawling everywhere! Just this morning, he followed me all around the house for the first time...not sure if I like that yet or not ;) He does this "but why" motion with his hands, and it's SO hysterical! He's a bit of a picky eater right now, but weighs in at about 23 lbs! This little guy cracks us up every day...we play chase, we scare each other (in a fun way), and tickle him all the time. He's the best thing that's ever happened to Chris and I, and we are TRULY blessed to have him in our lives!

Grayson's Crawling!!

Well....sort of. He takes a few crawling steps, then stops. This morning he was crawling, but on his hands and toes. He's learning!! Here's a video shot from my cell phone, so the quality's not that great, but you get the idea!
