Gray's First Snowfall!

FINALLY...we're able to wear our Snowman outfit that I bought for him back in October! :) It barely fits him now, but I'm able to just zip it up enough....thank goodness it finally snowed today! I wanted to take him out before his morning nap, but later, we're going SLEDDING!!

After our morning nap, we went back out while it was still snowing big snowflakes! We went SLEDDING!!

Play the video to see Gray's first time sledding!

More Mommy Group Fun!

Have I SAID how much I love our Mommy Group? This past week, they came over to our house (Andrea and Jackson couldn't make it though)....we had SO much fun! The babies are really starting to notice each other, AND what everyone is playing with. SUPER fun!!
Charlotte was very "mature" when playing with her toys! She didn't steal from ANYONE!

Brayden and Grayson stole each others toys most of the time!
Gray loves playing with his friends!

"You mean I have a TWIN??"

A few days ago, Grammy showed Grayson his reflection in the mirror in our kiddy bathroom... he was SO amazed that there was a baby that looked JUST like him doing the things he did right back at him! So, we've discovered our reflection and now LOVE to look at ourselves in the mirror! If I can figure out how to post the video from this day, I'll do it later :)

A Time in History to Remember Forever

No, we didn't vote for him. No, we didn't agree with some of his political views. No, we noticed that his politics changed from one view to the next throughout his campaign. However, I have a GREAT feeling about Obama and where he'll take this country in the next four years. I'm so proud to be a part of history and watch our first African American take the presidency. He's such an eloquent speaker, and it was wonderful watching him get sworn into office today. My son and I watched as history was being made, and even though we didn't vote for Barak Obama, we are proud Americans today who hope for a better future, and hope he can meet our expectations as the new President of the United States.

Out with the old (Who I think did a GREAT job!!)

LOOK at that crowd! They estimated over 1.4 million were there!

Joe Biden gets sworn in

Here's our new President! Barak Obama!

Pool Lessons

We've started pool lessons last Sunday, and so far, Gray LOVES the water! We're learning to reach for objects in front of us, swim with our arms, kick our legs, get our chin in the water (though I accidentally had Gray drink half of the pool at one point), and bob up and down! Here are some fun shots of the pool...we have videos too :)

Fun with daddy!

Grayson's Getting His First Tooth!!

HOORAY!! On Saturday, I was letting Gray chomp on my finger (as usual) but noticed that something sharp was cutting me...so, I did my best to move the tongue out of the way (NOT an easy task, might I add), and THERE IT WAS! The top part of his first tooth! Now, I have to say that he's not as happy about this as we are...he runs little temps and screams A LOT! I'm trying every trick in the book to ease this poor little guy's pain, but nothing works after the first 30 seconds.... Ah well, our little boy is growing up! Here are two pictures of his gums and his first tooth. We had to sneak this in while he was asleep!

6 Months... HOLY COW!!

I can't believe how quickly 6 months have gone by! Tonight, I felt Gray's first tooth popping through...you can already see the top part peaking out...HOLY COW! HIS FIRST TOOTH! He loves his bath time and screams when he gets out because he doesn't want to leave his bath toys behind (even though we take one with us as we dry off),. Gray starting eating the veggies right after his doctor's visit, so we started with sweet potatos (SORRY AUNT SANDY!)...he absolutely LOVES them, by the way! We've tried the sweet peas, but he HATES them with a passion, so to make up for the bad taste, I had him try carrots that same day (no harm since he's really not eating the peas), and he tolerates them...their not like his sweet potatos though! (Again, sorry Aunt Sandy!)
I think he's going to be a musical boy, because he LOVES playing his bongos and baby grand piano...and even plays the real thing with mommy every once in a while! Here are just a few pics of the past few days!
This face is telling me he might be peeing in the water, I'm not sure! :)

Daddy feeds him sweet potatos...no sour faces here!

Mimi and Papa gave us their Baby Grand, and we gave our baby his Baby Grand!
