7/11 - 7/13: Hospital Stay

We had the BEST experience at the Fairfax Hospital! Great nurses, great room, great everything! Everyone was SO helpful!! Chris and I are glad we're going to have great memories of our stay with our first born! Enjoy these pictures of some of our adventures!

It was a room I had to share with another, and that only lasted about 6 hours or so, then I was able to get a private room so Chris could stay with me the whole time. :) Enjoy some of these pictures of our first visitors!!

Labor wasn't bad at first, but I had NO breaks between contractions!




Hey everyone!!






We went into labor on 7/10 around 7:00 p.m. and had our little boy on 7/11 at 5:12 am! After pushing for 2 hours, I had to have the help of forceps to deliver our little boy, and he had some breathing issues at first, but after his first hour of life, everything was running smoothly! He's AMAZING!!






Chris and I have been on "cloud 9" ever since little Gray arrived!! We had our friends and family there at the hospital to share our joy, and since we've been home, the grandparents on both sides have spent LOTS of time with him! Especially Grammy (my mom)....who can't seem to put him down whenever she sees him!






This experience has made me so much closer to God and has humbled me in ways no one can imagine. The fact that I'm a mom now, and that Chris is a dad....it's so surreal! No amount of words, poetry, lyrics, or actions can describe how elated we feel right now! It's just SUCH an incredible experience, and the amount of love that we feel for each other and for our son... we NEVER imagined would be this strong! So, enjoy these photos of our new family. We have over 1,200 pictures already, and our boy is only 10 days old today!!
