Dinner with the Family

Karen and Reza had the family over to their place last night, and Uncle Ernie was there! It's the first time Chris was able to meet him, and I haven't seen him in years, so it was a nice visit! Karen cooked an AWESOME mexican meal, and the grown-ups ate at THEIR table, while the "kids" sat in the livingroom watching TV. Some things NEVER change! :) We had a great time! Here are some pics!

Happy Mother-To-Be Day!

So...I actually got gifts this Mother's Day! Mom and Dad gave me 2 cards (one from them that made me "ball", and one from Grayson...also made me "ball"), a Cherish Willow Pregnant figurine, a shirt from Motherhood, and some Bath and Body Works stuff. :) That was fun! Then, a day later, I got a bouquet of flowers from Doug (and his family), then today, Chris took me to a brunch, then we went shopping for our boy and got the bassenette and swing! Fun, fun, fun!

30 Weeks!!

So, the story is...I'm loosing my memory faster than you can say, "huh?" It's amazing the things I've forgotten or just not caught on to! Ah well. I broke one of our toilet seats this past week... GREAT for the ego, I have to say! :) Getting up and down are really becoming a challenge, and I wake up about 5 times a night to go pee....but you know what? It's ALL worth it! I'm feeling our boy move all the time, and there's nothing that can describe how that feels to me! I love looking down at my belly and watching it morph around and be kicked about! I can tell that little Grayson is going to have SUCH a great personality, based on his movements and patterns inside me. So, we have 10 more weeks to go, and I know Chris and I have to be patient, but it's SO hard when we want to meet this little one SO badly! "Patience is a Virtue" they all say...guess I'll have to try that out! Here's what we look like right now!
